1. Who we are
Morbleulayerco is a cross-platform architecture and UI consultancy based at 48 Farme Castle Ct, Rutherglen, Glasgow G73 1AA, UK. For privacy questions, email [email protected] or call +44 7916908638. We are the controller of personal information collected through this website and through direct enquiries.
2. Information we collect
If you email us or use a form on this site, we receive the details you choose to send: your name, email address, the service you ask about, and the content of your message. We also see ordinary technical data a web server or your email provider records, such as the time of the message.
We do not ask for account passwords, payment card numbers, or special-category data. Do not include those in a brief.
3. How we use it, and the legal basis
We use enquiry details to answer you, prepare a proposal, and deliver work you ask us to do. The legal bases under the UK GDPR are:
- steps you ask us to take before a contract, and performance of a contract if we work together;
- our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries and keeping a record of what was agreed;
- consent, where you accept the on-site cookie notice;
- legal obligation, where we must keep a record.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for automated decision-making.
4. Cookies and local storage
This website does not set third-party advertising or analytics cookies. There is no tracking pixel and no analytics script.
If you choose “Accept and close” on the notice, we store one key in your browser’s local storage, morbleulayerco_cookie_consent, with the value “accepted”. That key only remembers the choice so the notice stays closed. It is not sent to us. You can remove it by clearing site data for this domain. Until you accept, the notice remains available and no preference is stored.
5. Forms on this website
The contact and consultation forms do not post data to a Morbleulayerco server. They open your own email application with a message addressed to [email protected]. If the email application does not open, you can write to us directly. What you send then follows the normal path of email between you and us.
6. Sharing
We share personal information only with people who need it to answer or deliver the engagement, such as a contracted specialist under our instruction, or where the law requires it. We do not operate an advertising network and we do not publish a standing list of advertising sub-processors because we do not use any on this site. If a client project later needs a named supplier to see project data, we will tell you before that happens.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United Kingdom. Email you send may pass through your provider’s infrastructure. If we ever transfer personal information outside the UK, we will use a lawful safeguard, such as the UK extension to EU adequacy or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
8. How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as we need it to respond, and then for up to 24 months so we can find the context if you write again. Contract and invoice records are kept for up to 6 years after the engagement ends, which matches ordinary UK limitation and accounting practice. The local consent flag stays in your browser until you clear it.
9. Security
Email you send should use your provider’s normal transport security. We limit who inside the studio can read client correspondence. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, so please do not send secrets you would not put in ordinary email.
10. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, erase, or restrict your personal information, object to certain processing, and ask for portability where it applies. You can withdraw consent to the on-site notice by clearing local storage; that does not affect email you already sent. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would like the chance to help first: write to [email protected].
11. Children
This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe we have, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
12. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after that date means you are looking at the current version.
